Dave & Beverly Savula

Though Dave and Bev Savula are no longer with us, they left a lasting legacy that still motivates associates. Their team, The Advantage Group (TAG), continues to grow and expand, furthering the work that Dave and Bev started back in the 1990s when they became PPLSI Associates.
Dave passed away June 17, 2016, and on December 25, 2017, his beloved wife and partner in life and in business also passed away. Dave and Bev were PPLSI’s top earners. These legends are a vital part of the company’s history. In fact, in 2014, PPLSI initiated the Dave Savula Lifetime Achievement Award. Its first recipient: Dave Savula himself!
Dave and Bev believed the success of their business was directly related to doing the basics well. Dave used his electric personality and uncomplicated approach to selling to inspire an army of sales associates for decades. His simple approach — ”there’s something important I want to show you; it will only take 15 minutes, and you may or may not be interested” — is still used throughout PPLSI today.
Dave and Bev purchased a membership in 1985. But it wasn’t until 1992 that they became associates and began blazing their trail as the company’s top earners and rising in the ranks all the way up to Diamond 7 Executive Director.
As a business owner prior to PPLSI, Dave knew how to spot a service whose time had come. It’s not if you’re going to own a LegalShield Membership, it’s when! If you understand timing, market shares and the fact that PPLSI has virtually no competition, then it is very easy to understand why the Savulas were top associates.
Dave and Bev grew up in the same town of Mogadore, Ohio, on the same street, in fact, and they maintained a great family atmosphere with their two sons, David and Mike, and their grandchildren — Andrew, Morgan, and Jamie.
Dave and Bev influenced the lives of so many people in the PPLSI arena, but Dave was also an important role model for generations of kids in his own community. Dave coached youth football in Cobb County, Georgia for more than 30 years and developed a very successful football program in the North Georgia Football League.
Bev once shared this wise fact: “PPLSI is like life. You only get what you give — 100%, no less is our rule! Dave and I found that the playing field of opportunity is yours if you just decide to be a player and not a spectator. Dave always said, ‘If God wanted you to go backwards in life, He would have reversed your feet.’”
