In 1995, I was introduced to PPLSI by my brother-in-law and sponsor, Don Whigham. I had a great career in advertising sales, and Teresa had a great corporate gig also. But we had little time to enjoy it. I didn’t do much in my first year in the business — in fact I did nothing. But then something happened. I recruited my first really serious associate and suddenly we had launched a business! In 1998, I hit the Executive Director level, and Teresa was able to be a stay-at-home mom a year later. PPLSI has given us financial opportunity, the ability to earn trips and allowed us to put two kids through college without worrying about the costs, but the real blessing of this opportunity came in 2014, when Teresa was diagnosed with breast cancer. Because of my amazing team of associates and the ability to take income “as earned,” I was able to be by my wife’s side through the entire ordeal, unlike so many who had to beg for more time off, and my income actually went up, eventually earning us the $200,000 Ring! We have done well through three major “Black Swan” events: 9/11, the financial crisis of 2008 and now COVID-19. That is why we are on a mission to share our story, our experience and our success with as many people as possible and serve the willing with all our hearts so that they too can know the blessings of this amazing opportunity. If you are new in PPLSI, don’t do as I did and wait — take massive action now. Share the story with everyone. Bless as many people as you can as fast as you can!
