"Because of PPLSI, I have control of my schedule and my life. I am now available for my children, Brandon and Austin, when they come home from school. I help them with their homework. If the school needs me to volunteer, I can help. We are able to go on trips and have fun without worrying about coming back to a job.
Before PPLSI, I was a retail buyer for a major department store for 13 years. I was the “great spender of other people’s money.” I was on a plane every month traveling to New York City for a week. I also traveled overseas each year. I could never enjoy the holidays because I had to be in the stores. I worked 60 to 70 hours a week including nights, weekends and holidays. Retail is the frying pan.
I was introduced to this opportunity by my ex-husband, Tim, for which I am still thankful. I was on maternity leave with our second child when I received an override check. I never returned to my job. This opportunity has been an incredible journey, and I am excited to continue the trip.
What I like best about the opportunity is being stopped by a LegalShield Member who shares with me how the membership has helped them. It makes me feel so good to know that because I spoke to the group and shared with them, they now have the benefits of our services. It provides a life-changing experience for the member and for me. I truly love to help and service my accounts.
Being a single mom and not having to rely on anyone but myself has changed my life. PPLSI has afforded me not only the ability to be a stay-at-home mom but also to earn an income to support my family without having someone telling me when to come in, when to take lunch, how much vacation time I have and when I can go home. I love the fact that everyone has the same opportunity in PPLSI with the same product and the same commission structure. The difference is within you!
My greatest accomplishments in this business so far are recruiting a dynamic sales team and being one of the top recruiters in PPLSI. My goals for this year are to have an organization of more than 10,000 associates and earn my next PPLSI Ring.
Thanks to this business, I learned the importance of teamwork. When I underwent major surgery in December 2009, my team rallied together to continue the momentum. I can never repay them for that. I now know the importance of building a team, instead of it just being about me individually conducting business. I was able to have income coming in even while recovering. I want to thank my great family who has stood behind me. My sister is a Director in the business, and we are looking to promote her and to involve the rest of my family in this business.
